In accordance with the Competition Regulations: "Duets whose members belong to different age categories may participate in the Competition. In such cases, the programme of the Senior Category applies, and each member of the duet is evaluated within their respective age category." Thus, the performance will take place as a single duo with the program of the older group, but the jury's final score will be given to each participant separately, according to their respective age group.
Applicants who hold the title of Laureate of international ballet competitions that are members of the International Federation of Ballet Competitions (http://balletfederation.com ), as well as Laureates of the 2025 All-Russian Ballet Dancers and Choreographers Competition and 2026 All-Russian Competition of young performers «Russian Ballet», may participate in the XV International Ballet Competition without preliminary selection. In such cases, applicants shall submit a copy of the Laureate diploma in place of the video recording.

The Competition Directorate independently purchases air or railway tickets (economy class) to Moscow for contestants who are invited to Round I and their partners, as well as arranges and covers accommodation and meals for entire period of the Competition. For underage participants, the Competition Directorate may additionally cover the travel and accommodation expenses of one accompanying person.
The term of copyright protection for musical and choreographic works in the Russian Federation lasts for the entire lifetime of the author and for 70 years after the author’s death (Article 1281 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation).
The results of the video selection will be sent to all participants by email after April 20, 2026.
The broadcast will be available on the official website and on the VK social network.
Tickets will be available for purchase on the official website of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.
A participant may have up to two partners who are not competitors. Tickets to the Competition for the second partner will be purchased based on the results of the previous round.
